Howdy Bitcoiners,

How can it be that people are talking about bigger blocks again? Wasn’t this whole debate settled in 2017? The market and participants have decided what they want and they sided with decentralization of miners and nodes. It has been established that increasing the block size makes it more costly to mine and run a node, thereby putting decentralization at risk. But if people really want to try going through this exercise again, let’s do it. People are free to create a fork and I encourage it to be done. Let the market decide… again.

  1. Bitcoin seems to be absolutely absent from the mainstream media in Canada…Any news on this? Do you think the current government has put out a directive to its “trusted” media.

Great fodder for a future podcast eh?

    1. Given that several MSM outlets in Canada are getting funding from the government, anything is on the table. I don’t think bitcoin really is on the radar at this time. There is so many other pressing matters that require attention, and bitcoin will fly under the radar until it is too late.
